From videographer to agency founder.

George Bolanos is the Founder and President of Bolanos Media Group, a Miami-based creative and digital marketing agency built to help businesses strengthen their brands through strategy, content, social media, advertising, websites, and creative production.

His path into marketing began through hands-on experience in content creation and videography before developing into a broader career in digital marketing. After working with businesses across multiple industries and seeing firsthand what brands actually needed from their marketing partners, George launched Bolanos Media Group with a focus on combining creative execution with measurable business strategy.

Today, he leads BMG’s strategy, client relationships, creative direction, and continued growth while working alongside a team of creatives and marketing professionals.

George’s Story

George’s path into entrepreneurship didn’t begin with an agency. It started with a camera, a grocery store job, college, and a growing interest in what made businesses and brands stand out.

While attending college, George worked at Publix while also pursuing freelance videography through his first creative venture, Georgio Productions. What began as a way to create videos and develop his skills eventually became his introduction to working directly with businesses, understanding clients, and turning creative ideas into something that could provide real value.

As his experience grew, so did his interest in the strategy behind the content.

George went on to work professionally in marketing, eventually becoming a Marketing Director and gaining hands-on experience managing and supporting marketing efforts across more than 100 business accounts. That experience exposed him to far more than content creation. He worked across social media, advertising, client strategy, branding, digital campaigns, and the day-to-day realities businesses face when trying to market themselves consistently.

At the same time, he continued his education and graduated from Florida International University in 2023 with a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management and a minor in Marketing.

But throughout those years, the idea of building something of his own never really went away.

From Freelancing to Bolanos Media Group

By late 2023, George decided to take everything he had learned from freelancing, agency experience, marketing leadership, and working directly with business owners and turn it into something bigger.

Bolanos Media Group was born.

What started as George building the company himself has continued evolving into a full-service creative and digital marketing agency helping businesses strengthen how they look, communicate, and grow online.
